After manipulating the masses into pushing through a gate so they would not miss his show Odd Future’s Tyler, The Creator was arrested at Austin-Bergstrom International Airport. The Austin Police Department had a warrant out for his arrest. He was charged with a Class A Misdemeanor for inciting a riot.  This is some fucking bull shit. Every band that ever started a mosh pit should be charged with a Class A Misdemeanor for inciting a riot if this is the case. I feel like i need to go get some FUCK GOVT knuckle tats. This shit is incredibly greedy. Some idiot already crashed into a shit load of his fans wile running from the cops. And now this. Fuck. I wonder how he’s feeling about it.
According to SPIN’s report of the show, Tyler directly encouraged people to push past authorities.
“All you guys back there that can’t get in,” he said — then implored the mob to bust down the gates. There was a split second when it seemed like the crowd wasn’t going to do it, a possibility Tyler extinguished as he led the audience in a chant of “PUSH, PUSH, PUSH!”
And just like that, hundreds of people came rushing through the gates.

But fuck that. This shit is clearly opinionated and told out of context. And its obvious from the video that Tyler just didn’t want anybody to get left out. If i was in his position i would have done the same thing. In this world, when you care about the music and your fans. People with power try to fuck you.

My condolences go out to the families of the victims and all those injured at SXSW. If only we had less dumb ass people running from cops resulting in them crashing into lines of fans. And if only we had less greedy ass police officers that want to add insult to injury by arresting a talented musician for caring about his loyal and well earned following. The world would simply be a better place. I guess the moral of this story is, fuck the police. –  Brett Deadly
